Mrs. J. P. Firth, Wadestown, has returned to Wellington after a visit to Tahuna, Nelson.

Miss Egidia Menzies, who has been spending a holiday in Wellington, will return to Christchureh ohis evening.

Mrs. J. G. Coates and family, who spent the holidays at Dargaville, arrived in Wellington from Auckland on Saturday.

Mrs. Glubb,' England, is the guest of Mrs. Charles Cooper, St. Albans, Christchurch.

Mrs. J. T. V. Webster and her daughter have returned to their home at Karori after a visit to Waikeke Island, Auckland.

Mrs. Henry Hadfiold will leave tomorrow, for a visit to Eeri Keri and Auckland. She will also attend the conference of the Federation of Women's Clubs, which will be held at Whangarei.

Miss Edith Hind has returned to Wellington after a motoring holiday in the Manawatu and Taranakv

Miss Ida M. Corry, a member of the English Ladies' Alpine Club, who climbed Mount Cook last week, arrived in Wellington on Thursday, en route for New Guinea to meet her brother, who is arriving there from England. Miss Corry intends returning shortly to New Zealand.

Mrs. H. B. Fisher, who has been attending the Horticultural Society's Conference in Christchureh, returned to Wellington yesterday morning.

Miss Tina Hudson, who has been the guest of Mrs. J. Tamblyn, Lower Hutt, for the holiday season, has returned to her home in Gisborne.

Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Peato have tbturned to Wellington after a motor tour in the Hot Lakes District. They have taken a flat at Karori.

Mrs.V. Jensen, Fitzherbert terrace, left last week'for a motor trip of the South Island. She is accompanied by her two daughters, Mrs. Eton and Mrs. B. Munn, and Mr. Balph Munn, Dargaville. .'-.'..' ,

Lady le Fleming, who since last May, in hoi- capacity of an archaeologist, has visited Norway, Sweden, Esthonia, Finland, Latyia, and Denmark, and who has investigated mysterious ruins in the heart of East Africa, returned to Dunedin recently. In 1930 she also visited many countries, and travelled 40,000 miles in seven months. Lady le Fleming is tho widow of Sir Andrew le Fleming, eighth baronet of Bydal, who died in Dunedin in 1925.

Miss A. Blake-Scott, of the staff of The Jeppe High School, Johannesburg, who is visiting Christchureh this week, in the course of an eight months' holiday trip, will stay in New Zealand for abouffive weeks and will continue her journey to Canada, via Fiji and Honolulu, before going later to England and returning to South Africa.
