DEATH FROM INJURIES

HASTINGS, 31st January.
El Kaurauia, farmer, of Oringi, near Daiinevirke, succumbed to-day to injuries sustained on 18th January when a lorry he was driving plunged over a bank on the Te Ante Hill. His injuries consisted of several broken ribs, one of which penetrated a Jung.
