MELBOURNE, This Day. The Leader of the Opposition, Mr. Argyle, moved the adjournment of the House to discuss the Ministry's refusal to grant more money for a Royal Commission on British settlers. The motion was agreed to by 28 votes to 26, the Government being defeated. It is not expected that the Government will take the defeat as vital.
