■ For the final concert of the 1931 aeuoa th 4 Wellington Symphony Orchestra, under the con« ductorshtp of Mr. Leon de Mauny. will present on Thursday, 15th October, a programme that Is certain to be popular. Among th« lighter Hems will be the Strausi waltz, "Tales from tho Vienna Woods," Mozart's "Figaro** overture, and Trhaikovsky's "Polonaise" from "Gueen Onesln." The most Important symphonic works will ho Tchaikovsky's "Fifth Symphony" (In X Minor) , t and Mendelssohn's lovely Piano Concerto in G Minor.
