HUTT VALLEY GUN CLUB

Ou Saturday afternoon the members of the Hutt Valley Gun Club took part in the annual clay bird competition for the Jamieson Cup, a handicap event of .21 birds. Despite the unpleasant weather'conditions, some very good shooting..was witnessed. The cup was won by Lieut.-Commander W. H. Bremner, R.N., who only missed one bird. The runner-up was C. Y. O'Neill, with 19 birds. In the double rise.'.matches, the shooting was of a particularly high order. In the first match, three competitors, Lieut.-Com-mander W. H. Bremner, C. Moore, and IT. Smith missed only one bird apiece. '.The Becond match was won by Dr. Anson with 9 birds.
