The matches resulted: — Miss Upton beat Miss Loughnan, 3 and 1. Miss Kay beat Mrs. Coolce, 4 and 3. Mrs. Guy Williams beat Miss Hocking, 3 and 1. Miss Gaisford beat Mrs. Stout, 3 and 2. ; The game between Miss Kay and Mrs. Cookc was very even to the ninth, when Miss Kay, playing her best, gained the upper hand. Though Mrs. Cooke won tho thirteenth tho issue was never in doubt. Mrs. Gaisford and Mrs. Guy Wjlliams are showing their best form. These two meet in one semi-final to-morrow. Miss Kay will play Miss Upton in tho other.
