WOMEN'S TOURNAMENT
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) ROTORUA, 12th October. The Ladies' Golf Union Challenge Bowl event, played after the completion of the third round of the New Zealand ladies' golf championship, was won by Miss M. Stevens (Pupuke), 77, 4—73. The, best card in the division for players with 11 to 18 handicap was returned by Mrs. B. Preston (Akarana), 89, 1:5—74. The Mellsop Cup Competition, for the three best gross scores, -will be completed to-morrow. At present Miss 0. ■ Kay leads with IoG, Miss M. Stevens being second with 159.
