ELECTRICITY CHARGES
(To the Editor.) j Sir,—ln Monday's "Evening Post" a report from the Wellington Retailers' Association was given, comparing the charges for electric light and meter dues between iJunedm, Christchurch, and Wellington. no doubt this will give shopkeepers something to think about. It seems strange that some of the larger stores have not | taken up this matter earlier, but perhaps being larger consumers they receive larger concessions. The difference in charges against the Wellington cousumer requires a definite statement from the Electricity Department, and it will be interesting to hear its side of the question.—l am, etc., CONSUMER.
