EASTBOURNE FERRY
(To the Editor.) Sir,—May I voice the sentiments of many Eastbourne passengers in protest against the proposed alteration in timetable, namely, that the present 8.5 a.m. boat be dispatched at 7.45 a.m., to suit those desirous of leaving Eastbourne earlier. Already these passengers are well_ catered for in that there is a boat at 7.5 a.m., and in addition a bus at 7.25 a.m. Should the suggested alteration take place, most passengers who are due at business at 9 o'clock would be seriously inconvenienced by the unnecessarily early arrival in town, having to wait about before gaining admittance to their business premises. The existing 8.5 a.m. boat service, which lias been running for | so long, is a most convenient one for most i Eastbourne residents.—l am, etc., PASSENGER.
