The opinion is expressed that the new method of scoring—three points instead of two for a win and one point for v draw —tended to speed up play considerably, with the result that, although there was a number of drawn games, the percentage was not nearly so great as in the past. In dealing with this matter, mention is made that the question of playing times is one which the committee has been considering for some time, and it is pointed out that at the annual meeting a motion will probably bo submitted with the object of increasing the hours of play slightly. Details are given of the performances of teams in the four grade championship competitions and in other games played during the season. j
