WEDDINGS
The wedding was celebrated last week at the Basilica, Hill street, of Irene Victoria, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. Pierson, Wellington, and Patrick Richard Kelly, only son of Mrs. and the late C. J. Kelly, of Feraside, Featherston. • Father Smith officiated., Tho bride, who was. escorted by her brother, Mr. T. W. Pierson, woro a graceful frock of ivory satin, moulded to the figure, the skirt being long and fully flared. A tullo veil and orange blossoms were also worn, and she carried a sheaf of pastel-tinted flowers. The bridesmaid, Miss Marie Daly, wore a frock of floral ninon with touches of pink and blue. It was - mado with tight-fitting sleeves, ■ coatee' effect, and long flared skirt. She also wore a silver headdress. After the ceremony a reception was held at the Ritz, where the mother of the bride received the guests. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly left later by car for a tour of the North Island.
