"NICE KETTLE OF FISH"
TEACHERS AND THE LEVY . (By Telegraph.) (Special to "The Evening Post.") AUCKLAND, This Day. "This is a nice kettle of fish," said tho chairman (Mr. A. Burns) -when the Auckland Education Board was advised by tho Education Department that it has responsibilities as an employer under the Unemployment Act, and that the task is imposed upon the board of ascertaining whether teachers have registered under the Act and paid their levies. This was described by members as cumbersome, aud it was decided to issue circulars to each school every quarter requesting all teachers to say whether they havo paid tho levies or not.
