DANCE AT ••HOMEWOOD ,
The spacious rooms at "Homewood," Karori, the home of Mr. and Mrs. B. Sutherland, wero, well filled with guests last evening, when Miss Jean Sutherland, gave a dance to raise funds for tho rebuilding of lona College, Hawkes Bay. AVinter hydrangeas in profusion decorated the drawing-room -niid bil-liard-room, .where* dancing took place, and glowing fires in all tho rooms were an added attraction.-Bridge'-.'was arranged for the non-dancers. A dainty supper was served in the dining-room, and the-evening proved most success-; ftil in every way, about, £50 being re-alised.-'Mrs. : Sutherland' woro'a frock and coatee of orchid embossed georgette, and "Miss Jean Sutherland's frock of gold lace had a yoke and hem of tulle.
