A LABOUR DISPUTE

AUCKLAND, This Day.
The reported intention of Mr. F. N. Bartrain to contest the Grey Lynn seat as an Independent Labour caudidato at the General Election is a sequel to 'a dispute concerning the selection of Mr. J. A. Lee as the official Labour candidate for the cpnstituency. Mr. Bartram was first elected as member for Grey Lynn in December, 1919, and ho held the seat until 1928, when ho ■was defeated by Mr. J. S. Fletcher.
