CALCUTTA, 7th Julyi
A Government communique relativ-8 to the Burma round-up places the total rebel casualties to date at two thousand, more than half of which number were killed, or died of wounds owing to lack of rebel medical services. The rebellion has now spread to tho Northern Shan States, where terrorism and looting are prevalent. Forty rebels were killed in this locality recently
