OTHERS APOLOGISE

j In. the House of Commons, the four members of the Left Wing of the Labour Party who caused a scene in tho House on Thursday by resisting the removal of a colleague, Mr., J. M( Govern, who was suspended after disobeying tho ruling of the Speaker, apologised for their action. Mr. J. Maxton said that he wished to express his deep regret to the Speaker and the House for allowing himself to be influenced by his feelings and the circumstances of the moment to act in a manner which, in- calm reason^ ho knew to be indefensible.
The incident was closed by the Prime Minister, Mr. Ramsay Mac Donald, moving that tho proceedings be entered on. the Journal of tho House.
The remaining members who took part in the apology were Messrs. J. Kinley, G. Buchanan, and J. Beckett.
