BIG FIRE IN SYDNEY
SYDNEY, 28th June. A large fire occurred in M'llrath's grocery and provision emporium, a sixstoried building in the danger zouo of Pitt street, in tho early morning. The premises wore almost gutted and tho firemen had a desperate job prevonting the flames from spreading to tho large department stores nearby. Ono fireman was injured by falling debris.
The damage to estimated at £10,000.
