TRIAL OF FRENCH
INVENTION

LONDON, 17th June. ' The f'Daily Express" states that twai French experts, MM. Henri Bardel and Ferrier, have invented a non-inflam-mable petrol, which eliminates the danger of fire either in the air or after: a crash. Both arc men of independent means, and declare that they do not! intend to make a penny out of their invention. They, desire that the world should benefit by the discovery, and'to' eliminate the peril of death from firs from aviation. The petrol is made byj a special treatment. A demonstration' in which lighted matches and red-hoti bars were dropped in the petrol was entirely successful. . : '.-..-
