Wright, Stephenson, and Co., Ltd., and Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report on Johnsonville sale held on Tuesday as follows: —"In spite of the inclement weather there was a very large attendance of buyers. Cattle: We submitted a full yarding of cattle,, comprising 236 head of bullocks, <=ows, and vealers.. Competition for bullocks and cows was keen at last ■week's ratea, and a total clearance was effected at auction. Vealers met with a good'demand. Sheep: 2115 sheep were submitted. The quality of ■ the ; sheep vas better than for the last few weeks, particularly good lines of ewes being submitted. Prices showed no alteration on last week's rates. Lambs met with, a ready sale at late rates.
