(Received 4th May, 1 p.m.) LONDON, 3rd May. An Angmagsalik message states that Captain Ahrenberg arrived, covering a 500 miles sea crossing in seven hours and a quarter. An aeroplane piloted by Captain. Riiser Larsen will probably assist in the search for Courtauld if Captain Ahrenberg fails. Major Sydney Cotton, an English airman, is joining in the search. He is at present'fitting a monoplane with extra petrol tanks giving a range of 1200 miles in. ten hours. He sails on sth. May for Reykjavik, from where he will fly to Angmagsalik. He will carry picketed provisions ready to drop by parachute, each sufficient for a man. for a fortnight, enabling succour to be obtained by cither Courtauld or the search parties.
