BOXING.
Judging by the great number of seats booked on the opening of the box plan yesterday, the contest between Allen Whitlow and Harry Johns is creating more ; than usual interest. Whitlow, who is conceding weight to his opponent, recognises that he must be in the best of condition when he faces Johns. Johns is showing improved form in., his training, and is very sanguine as to the result. Patrons who dp not wish to be disappointed are advised to book their seats as."early as possible, "for theindications afe that a very limited number of seats will be available on Tuesday night next.
