New Zealand, while 50s to 62s per cwt, coloured 53s to 545; Australian, white 50s, coloured 52s to 535.

Messrs. Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received the following market report from Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan, Ltd., Londpn, dated Oth April:—"New Zealand butter: Market very quiet. New Zealand cheese: Market firm, better demand; both unchanged." Messrs. Samuel Page and Son cable under date of 9th April to Messrs. Dalgety as follows:— "Butter—Market quiet. Danish, 120s to 122s (122s to 1245); New Zealand, finest salted, 110s to 112s (110s to 112s); Australian, finest, unsalted, UOs to 114s (112s to 116s)!
