HOUSE ENTERED
BURGLARY AT AUCKLAND
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) I AUCKLAND, Bth April. About £100 worth of property was stolon from the residence of Mr. E. W. Friedlandor, of Bemuera, which was entered by thieves during last weekend. When Mr. Friendlander returned from a holiday on Tuesday evening he found the house had been thoroughly searched. An entrance had been gained by'forcing a window. About £40 worth of jewellery was taken. Fortunately Mrs. Friedlander had taken most of her jewellery with her. Close attention was paid to Mr. Friedlander's wardrobe, from which two complete suits and three or four pairs of trousers had been stolen. Other articles taken included a camera and a clock.
