FRANCE AND ITALY
POSITION MORE SERIOUS
LONDON, Sth April.
Though every effort is being made to find a way out of tho naval deadlock, the position is growing more serious. Britain and Italy are unable to concede to France's demands.
The "Daily Herald" states editorially that there is no disguising the fact that if Prance adheres to her present attitude the scrapping of the agreement might easily become a possibility.
