FIRE IN THEATRE BUILDING
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) GISBOBNE, This Day. A firo "this morning in the Majestic Theatre building gutted Ferguson's confectionery shop and extensively damaged tho Grand Tearooms above, whilst tho theatre vestibule and Bickford's stationery.shop suffered damage by water. The flames had a strong hold when discoverer!, but the, brigade effected a good saco of (lie main portion of the theatre building, Ferguson's stock was insured for £1500 in the Yorkshire office. The theatre building is covered by a. policy of £5500 in. the Eagle Star Office, .mcl Eickford's stock is covered for; £600 in the Slats Office.
