(Eeceived Ist April, 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. The noisiest meeting since the City Council took over from the Civic Commission ended by Alderman M'Elhone walking out with Labour. Aldermen, leaving the council without a quorum. Thus for the second time the council has been prevented from dealing with the Lord Mayor's minute to abolish the Assets aud Internal Audit Departments and reorganise both under the Town Clerk's supervision. The Lord Mayor said that the position was so serious that he would take legal advice to meet it.
