NEW SOUTH WALES SLUMP

(Received Ist April, 11 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day._ The Government Statistician has issued figures showing that at the end of last year there were approximately 40,870,000 sheep and lambs in the State of New South Wales compared wit 11 50,750,000 during- 3920. The estimated total production for 1930-31, including skins aud wools was 430,000,OOOlbs, nearly 30,000,000 less than in 1929. The value of this season's clip shows a decline of nearly £.5,000,000 compared with 1929, the actual value in that year being £20,123,000.
