LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION

A meeting of the Wellington branch of the League of Naftions Union was held at the League of Nations Union office, 41, Courtenay place. Present: The president, the treasurer, five members, and the secretary. Apologies were received from four other members. After preliminary business, rejports were handed in of the reception held on the 18th instant in honour of visitors from Geneva. A profit was reported of £3 14s Cd. The secretary was directed to send letters of thanks to the following for musical items: Mrs. Godier, Mrs. Irwin, Miss Clegg, and Mr. Chambers, Miss Nelson for help given to the Ladies' Sub-committee, to the members of the League of Nations Study Circle of the Lyceum Club who had assisted in getting the room ready and in clearing it up and washing up afterwards. Preliminary arrangements were made for the annual meefcjfng. Nominations were made for the officers and members of the council. Notice of amendment was given for a necessary alteration in the constitution as regards the month for holding thn annual meeting., A sum of £2 2s was paused for payment of the affiliation1 foe to the British League of Nations Union,
