APPLICATIONS FOR MATCHES

Approval was given at last evening's meeting of the Management Committee of the Wellington Rugby Union to the Hntt Club sending a team to Levin on Saturday to play the Wanderers team. Permission was given to the Miramar Club's senior team to meet a team from the Gladstone Club at Athletic Park on Saturday, and for a match to be played between the Eastbourne, senior fifteen, and Grey town at Greytowu the same afternoon. Owing to the Chvistchuroh Club being unable to arrange for a team to travel, the Wellington Club advised that its match with that club at Athletic Park on Saturday would not take place. An application by the Hutt Club for its senior team to play the Oriental' Club's senior toani at Hutt Recreation Ground on Gymnasium. Saturday, 11th April, and for lower grade matches between the two clubf, was granted. A gymnasium fund match between Marist and Bcrhamporo was also approved.
