SOUTH ISLAND FINAL
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, 11th February. In the final of the South Island Ladies' Croquet Championship, Mrs. Corbe-tt (Dunedin) beat Mrs. Macdonald (Invercargill), 26-8, 26-11. DUNEDIN, 11th February. Mrs. Horn (Punga) won the open croquet championship after a struggle against Mrs. Corbet, 12-20, 26-10, 11-19. At the conclusion of play the cup presented by Mr. and Mrs. R. W. M'Creath, of Gore, was handed to Mrs. Horn.
