The Lord Mayor appeals for contributions, which he asks should be sent to Sir Thomas Wilford in order to avoid duplication consequent on the opening of the Mansion House list.
At the suggestion of Viscount Astor, presiding at the Empire Press Union's 'coming of age, the annual meeting agreed to telegraph to the New Zealand branch sympathy in the earthquake disaster.
