LONDON, 24th- January. The wool sales continued with a goodi ■selection. Competition was dull and largely confined to Yorkshire buyers. i There: is apparently a growing reluctance among sellers to accept current values, and consequently there, have been large, withdrawals. . ; -....■ The daily drop in values in London has disorganised all markets, and. so. '.little Wskiess is passing that quotations -'are regarded as largely nominal.; ;,'■,■, . :;■ The whole trade, both buying and sell-! ing, has had a jude shock from, which.'jt has not yet recovered. All;are now read-' justing their ideas and formulating decisions to govern their future* actions and policies. • The sales next week should witness the . establishment of a new basis, with, possibly, renewed and increased confidence.
