OLD NAVALS
i. The Old Navals Uifle Club continued ;(heir championship and series competition .at Trentham on Saturday afternoon .over \he 300, 500, and 600 yards ranges.. Conditions -were anything but pleasant for jifle shootinß. Heavy, showers fell during •the shoot, and this made things very uncomfortable for those who were on tile iMOUnd at. the time. ' Some good scores iverc recorded. F. Mouk's 99, under the conditions, was. a. very fine performance. W. M'Bain also shot well, registering 96. Tho scores are as follow.—
