MINISTER AND DEPUTATION
(Beeeived Kith December, 10 a.m.) LAUNCESTON, This Day. Militant tactics were adopted by'the unemployed, when a deputation of thirty forced its way into the office of the Chief Secretary, Mr. James. The men were advised to keep their hats on, because to take them o£E implied servility. . i The Minister said that he hail no intention of hearing the deputation while members adopted such a domineering attitude, and immediately left the building. The men then took charge of the Ministerial room, and sang "The Bod Flag" and other songs.
