THE -NELSON SHIELD
(By Telegraph—Press Association.) WANGANUI, loth December. A move to meet tho wishes of lifesaving centres in connection with the date for the Nelson Shield contest was made by the AVauganui Swimming Centre this evening, when it was decided to agree to tho local life-saving centre holding tho event on Saturday, 7th March. If tho life-saving centre accepts the offer the Annette Kellerrnau Cup event, originally set down, for 7th Match, will bo 'held on Friday, tho day now scheduled for the Nelson Shield contest.
