DROWNED IN HARBOUR
IDENTIFICATION OF VICTIMS
It is believed by the police that tho body recovered from tho harbour near the Thorndon breastwork on Sunday morning is that of J. ,T. Patterson, aged 21, who came to Wellington from Wanganui. Identification has been almost completely established. Tho man who was seen to fall into tho harbour from tho gangway leading from the Pipitea Wharf to tho Westmoreland at!) o'clock on Saturday night is believed to bo Hugh M'Dougall Mackay Dickio. Ho is single, 27 years of ago, and a marine engineer woil known in tho Richardson Line. Ho left his home in Karori on Saturday evening stating that ho intended to visit the third engineer On tho Westmoreland. As flic body has not yet been recovered from the harbour, it is difficult to establish identification definitely.
