THE TIN MARKET.
Tin has be*n an excited market of late, with erratic' price movements up and down. While the present level of prices will doubtless result in a natural decrease of production from some tin-producing areas, and accordingly a i'alling-off in supplies in the near future, heavy "bull" commitments are known to exist. This fact, states Brandeis, Goldschmidt, and Co., London, has on unhealthy influence on the market. "Consumption remains poor, and shows'uo sign of improvement at the moment. The market at present is in a dangerous state,"
