A FATAL ACCIDENT
£1000 DAMAGES AWARDED
(By Telegraph.—Presa Association.) NAPIER, This Day! As a sequel to a fatal accident at the Waikari Gorge a few months ago, Margaret Macintosh proceeded against Ainsl/r Clarence Holden in the Supreme Court for £2000 damages on the ground of alleged negligence. The case was hoard by Mr. Justice Blair and lasted for two days. The plaintiff was awarded damages amounting to j £1000, one-third for herself ' and twothirds for her five children.
