INSPECTOR SHOT
TWO YOUNG ASSAILANTS
MAKE GOOD THEIR ESCAPE
(Received 2nd December, 12.30 p.m.) DELHI, Ist December. An Indian inspector of police was fatally wounded as the result of a shooting incident at Chandpur Station, 246 miles from Calcutta. Two young men on a train fired shots at Tarini Mukhcrji, who died on the- way to hospital. Other police immediately opened fire, but tho men escaped.
