(Received 2nd December, 2.30 p.m.) JOHANNESBUBG, Ist December. In the match against Transvaal,; Marylebone in the first innings made 238 (Wyatt 58, Hammond 70, Chapman. 37, White 36). Brown took threa wickets for 64 runs, Vincent three for 54, and A. Hall three for 53. Transvaal, in their first innings, made 176 (Taylor 46). Peebles tools five wickets for 45, and-White threa for 13. Marylebone, in the second innings, have lost three wiekqts for 65 runs. When Transvaal's score was 105, four Transvaal wickets fell without the addition of a single run. Peebles at one stage took three wickets lor 4 runs.
