While motoring to Christchurch to attend his brother's funeral, Hurry Bra dwell, printer, of Lawrence, was drowned in a creek a mile north of Palmcrston early this morning. Prom the meagre details available, it appears that the car, which was driven by Colin Goodlet, of Lawrence, with the deceased arid a lady as passengers, ran into tho creek and capsized. Goodlet was not seriously injured and was taken to hospital in a semi-conscious condition.
