Mr. and Mrs. D. 0. Peacock and tko Misses Mollio and Jessie Peacock, who Lave spent the past year in England, returned to 'Wellington by the Eotorua. Mrs. Lan MacEwan, Palmcrston North, is the guest Of Mrs. J. B. MacEwan, Fitzherbert terrace. Miss Valeric Denniston, Lower Hutt, has returned homo after a. visit to Martou. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Blundell, Murphy street, who havo been, visiting England, returned to Wellington to-day by the Maunganui from Sydney. Gibbs were among- the passengers who arrived in Wellington' this morning by the Maunganui from Sydney. Mrs. W. Davies, Lower Hutt, lias returned home aftor a visit to New Plymouth. Mr. and Mrs. W. E. A: Gill and tho Misses Joyce and Thyra Gill, who havo spent the past year in England, returned to Wellington to-day by the Mauuganui from Sydney. Mrs. T. Maddisoii, Hastings, is tho guest of Miss Maddison, Kelburn. Mrs. E. L. Kaula, Wellington, who has been visiting Sydney, returned on Friday by the Malolo. Miss May Whiting, Wellington, who has been visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Whiting, Opawa, Christchurch, lias returned north. Mrs. F. Anderson, Miss M. Anderson, and Master Anderson were among the passengers who arrived in Wellington to-day by the Maunganui from Sydney. •
