CHINESE TARIFF
SUBSTANTIALLY INCREASED
(Received Ist December, 2 p.m.) SHANGHAI, 30th November. A new tariff schedule to become effectual in the New Year has been passed by tho Government. It increases the Customs revenue by one hundred million dollars. Seven hundred articles are affected.
