MURDER OF GIRL
PUBLIC PEELING AROUSED
MELBOURNE, 13th Nov. . The police have detained and questioned a man in connection with tho murder of a girl at Bentleigh. The crime has aroused public feeling like no other for years past.
The body of a twelve-year-old girl who had been foully done to death after being outraged, was found in an empty house at Bentleigh. A gag was knotted tightly round the face, and death was apparently due to suffocation.
