REVERSION TO OLD STATUS QUO (Received 14th November, 1 p.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Among the first policy Bills of the new State Government will be one to amend the Arbitration Act, securing effective preference to unionists and the abolition of the loyalist unions formed within the Government Services as the result of the 1917 strike troubles. Tho Bill will also provide for a general reversion to the forty-four hours week and a repeal of the provision permitting piecework, contracting, or any other system of payment by results.
