MEETING OF, CREDITORS
A meeting of creditors in the .bankrupt'estate.! of .Louis Linoemen Grant; carrier, Wellington, was held in the office of the Official Assignee (Mr. S. Tansley) to-day. The statement of accounts showed: Unsecured creditors, £598 8s lid; 'assets, nil." In.his statement,-bankrupt attributed his position; to"lll-hcaltli and the loss, ofa ■ motor-truck. When he started business on his own account he had to borrow capital to keep going. He started, at a bad .time,'was not able to keep up his payments, and had to borrow more money. The principal creditors were: H. Grant, £406;. Petrol Supplies, Ltd., £75 55.4 d.; Wellington Hospital, £32 J.9s sd; Williams and Adams, £28 18s lid. In reply to questions, bankrupt said he was a married man with two young children. Ho was out of work, and. was unable to make any offer to his creditors. The money he had borrowed was obtained from his father. "The meeting was adjourned sine .die.
