RAISING CONVERSION LOAN
MODERATES MAY AGREE
CANBERRA, 9th November,
The refusal of the Aeting-Piime Minister, Mr. J. E. Fenton, to carry out the militant wing's demands, it is stated, leads to an expectation that tho moderates will agree to the plan of the Treasurer (Mr. Lyons) for the raising of a conversion loan to cover the maturing twenty-seven millions of loans.
