MISSING AIRMAN
SAFE AT ALICE SPRINGS
SYDNEY, 9th November. The airman Coote, who has been missing for some days, is reported from Alice Springs to be safe. Ho had missed the ground party, who did not arrive at the desert, rendezvous as arranged, and his search for members of the party was unsuccessful for several days, during which he and they suffered considerable privations.
