OSCAR GARDEN'S PLANS
ATTEMPT IMPRACTICABLE

United Press Association— By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. (Received 10th November, 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, This Day. Tho New Zealand airman, Oscar Garden, has left for Melbourne. He intends flying to Perth and returning to Sydney in about six weeks, when he will take steamer to New Zealand. Garden said that while he was eager to see old friends in New Zealand as soon as possible, he did not think it practicable for a one-engmed machine to cross the Tasnian. MESSAGES APPRECIATED. The Acting-Prime Minister (the Hon. E. A. Ransom) to-day received the following cable message from Mr. Oscar Garden, the New Zealand airman: "Appreciate deeply your congratulations. Expect visit you within few weeks. Would appreciate your expressing my. deep appreciation at receiving many telegrams of congratulations from New Zealand. Am looking forward to my return with Kia Ora in few weeks."
