MAGISTRATE'S COURT
To-day's sitting of the Magistrate's Court was presided over by Mr. T. B. M'Neil,.S.M. One first offending inebriate, who did not appear, was fined 10s, the amount of his bail. Edward Simmonds, alias . Simmons, aged '1-1, for Ms second offence of drunkenness within six months, was fined £1. On a charge of casting offensive mattor, Arthur Edward Gill, aged 47, was fined £1, in default forty-eight houi-3' imprisonment. He was. convicted and discharged, $o% being tlraiii.
